TK-4G-GW 4G Gateway & TK-R12 12-Channel Control Board
The brain and the hands of the system: the 4G gateway decides, the 12-channel control board executes. Live DO data comes in over RS485, the gateway acts on the spot — aerators on when oxygen drops, down when it recovers — and this local loop does not depend on the network, so your ponds stay protected offline.
TK-4G-GW 4G Aquaculture Gateway
A self-developed 4G IoT gateway board that pulls sensors, aerators and VFDs onto one data bus:
- 4G SIM + tri-chip architecture: data up over MQTT; remote viewing, push alarms, cloud commands;
- Dual RS485: one bus dedicated to DO probes, one driving the waterproof VFD directly over Modbus RTU — no extra protocol converter;
- Edge DO closed loop: threshold logic runs locally; 4G is the reporting channel, never the control dependency;
- 12V output: powers probes and peripherals for cleaner pond-side wiring;
- USB debug port + OTA: capabilities evolve without replacing hardware.
TK-R12-SC4S-BG 12-Channel Control Board
The execution stage for larger farms:
- 3-phase U/V/W × 4 = 12 high-current relay channels: staged startup of multiple aerators per pond;
- 380V three-phase and 220V single-phase in one system; main-control supply derives two phases from 380V — built for farms without a neutral wire;
- Up to 3kW per channel (220V single-phase), covering 0.75–3kW aerators; 3.5/7.5kW upgrade paths available;
- 3 × RS485 + 12V bus cascades with the gateway; boards stack for expansion;
- IP55 enclosure ready with four-stage lightning/surge protection and residual-current protection.
How they work together
- DO probes stream data to the gateway over RS485 (second-level polling);
- The gateway compares against per-pond thresholds: below the ON line → close the channel / raise VFD frequency; above the OFF line → stop / lower;
- Multiple aerators start in stages — half on, watch the rise, then add the next group — avoiding inrush spikes and wasted power;
- Everything mirrors to the cloud: live curves, graded alarms (push / SMS / voice call), and remote diagnostics for operations.
Offline fallback in one line: the cloud is the nice-to-have; the local loop is the lifeline. Poor 4G signal on a hillside pond? The system still aerates on DO — something many imported solutions can't guarantee.
FAQ
- Can I switch aerators on from my phone?
- Yes — per-channel ON/OFF, one-key staggered full-start and VFD speed control via the cloud. Manual commands are validated at the gateway, and local safety logic always keeps priority.
- How many ponds per account?
- Multi-pond management is native: one account, many gateways, per-pond thresholds, fleet dashboard and grouped alarms — see multi-pond management.
- What about lightning and leakage?
- Four-stage SPD surge protection, equipotential grounding and two-stage RCD protection with trip alarms — details in power distribution protection.
- Can we expand later?
- Add gateways horizontally, stack boards vertically — existing equipment stays. Firmware evolves over OTA.
